Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, what MoviePro accesses on your device and the limited diagnostics it collects.

Last updated 5 August 2026.

Overview

MoviePro is a video camera app for iPhone and iPad. The video and audio you record is captured on your device and saved in MoviePro's App Library on your device. By default, your footage stays on your device — MoviePro does not upload it. This policy explains the permissions the app requests, how your recordings are handled, and the limited, anonymous diagnostics MoviePro collects to catch failures and improve reliability. If you have questions, you can contact us using the details below.

Permissions

MoviePro requests only the system permissions it needs to work, and only when they are relevant. Camera and Microphone let the app record video and audio. Photos access lets you export finished takes to your Photo Library. Local Network access is used only to discover and control a second iPhone for Remote — it is never used to track you or to identify your network. Location access is optional: when you turn location tagging on, MoviePro records where a take was shot into the video file's own metadata, so the location travels with the file you keep. That location is never sent to us, and you can turn location tagging off at any time in MoviePro's settings. iOS asks for your consent before granting each permission, and you can review or change these at any time in the Settings app.

Videos and media

The video and audio you capture is recorded on your device and stored in MoviePro's App Library on your device. MoviePro does not upload, back up, or transmit your footage on its own. You decide if and when to export or share a take — for example, saving it to your Photo Library or sending it to another app. Once you choose to export or share a recording, how it is handled afterward is governed by the service or app you send it to.

Analytics & diagnostics

MoviePro uses Firebase, a service provided by Google, to collect anonymous crash reports and basic usage diagnostics. This helps us catch failures and improve the app's reliability. These diagnostics never include your footage, your audio, or the contents of your recordings. The categories of data collected are limited to diagnostics and usage data. This data is retained only as long as needed to investigate issues and improve the app.

Data sharing

MoviePro does not sell your personal data, and your footage is never shared as part of using the app. The anonymous diagnostics described above are processed by Google as part of providing the Firebase service, subject to Google's terms. Aside from that, MoviePro does not share your information with third parties.
