What it does

Run the take without touching the camera.

From the remote iPhone you run the take and watch the camera's live view, so you can direct the shot from where you're standing.

  • Start, pause, resume, and stop recording remotely.
  • Zoom, switch lenses, and set the focus or exposure point.
  • In Pro mode, adjust ISO, shutter speed, exposure compensation, and white balance.
  • Monitor the camera's live view and audio levels.
  • See the camera's battery, storage, thermal warnings, and recording status.
The setup

One records, another controls.

Set one iPhone to the Camera role and the other to the Remote Control role. The remote finds the camera on your network and mirrors its live view.

Phone A — Camera

On a tripod or gimbal, pointed at your subject. It runs the capture and records the file.

Phone B — Remote Control

Keep it with you to monitor the live view, operate the camera, and follow recording status and warnings.

Local & direct

It works over your own network.

Both iPhones run MoviePro on the same Wi-Fi network or Personal Hotspot. Allow Local Network access on both devices so they can discover and connect to each other. The control link stays local and does not require an account or internet service.

What to expect
This version controls one camera iPhone at a time. Both iPhones need MoviePro, Local Network access, and the same Wi-Fi network or Personal Hotspot. Keep MoviePro open and the camera iPhone awake while using Remote. If the preview freezes, first confirm that both devices remain on the same network and that MoviePro is still open on the camera. Remote mode is free to explore; recording through it requires the one-time Pro unlock or 7-day pass.
