Choose the color mode in Settings › Video Format › Color Mode; the screen is headed Color Space. Rows the current codec or route cannot record are dimmed, and the footer says why.

Log Look and Bake LUT
With Apple Log or Apple Log 2 selected, Log Look chooses the monitoring view: Original Log, Rec.709 or Rec.2100 HDR. Bake LUT in recording records that converted look instead of Log, and the original Log is not saved. Baking works for single-camera takes up to 60 fps. Long-Record Mode records Log even with baking on; ProRes RAW stays RAW, with no conversion baked. Use Log View
Use Log View#
Monitor a converted image and keep Log
- Choose Apple Log or Apple Log 2 under Settings › Video Format › Color Mode.
- In Log Look, choose Rec.709 or Rec.2100 HDR. Leave Bake LUT in recording off.
- Return to Pro. Use the LOG / 709 / HLG control to change the view when available.
With baking off, the conversion affects the preview and the recorded file stays Log. Choose Original Log to see the unconverted image.
Record a Log conversion#
Record the converted image
- Before the take, select the converted look in Settings › Video Format › Color Mode › Log Look.
- Turn on Bake LUT in recording. Read the destination-color description below it.
- Record a short test and check the file and the receipt's look information.
A recorded conversion works for single-camera takes up to 60 fps. Long-Record Mode records Log even with baking on; ProRes RAW stays RAW, with no conversion baked. The LOG / 709 / HLG chip selects the monitoring view only. MoviePro 10.0.4 does not import custom LUTs.
