Use Pro Video Storage for ProRes

In Settings › Storage › Save Destination, turn on Use Pro Video Storage (iOS 27, supported devices). It reserves storage for ProRes, ProRes RAW and RAW HQ with a single recording writer; it is one of the two places ProRes RAW can record, with an external SSD. HEVC, H.264 and Dual Capture separate files cannot use it, and it is inactive while Files or a connected SSD is selected. Check Reserved and Remaining, use Configure Pro Video Storage to set the reservation in iOS, and Replenish Storage between takes.

The storage indicator estimates the recording time left for the current format and destination, rounded down: 22H, 4:12H or 45M. It turns red below 10 minutes. Check it again after changing codec or frame rate.
